Wade Smith
Dr. Smith is a 3rd generation Colorado native who was raised on a small farm in rural Adams County. He grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, chickens, ducks and pheasants. Dr. Smith's passion to help animals began at an early age. Growing up he watched his father, Dr. Larry Smith, treat sick and injured pets and realized that he wanted to be able to do the same. He was also very intrigued with the anatomy and physiology of animals and desired to learn all he could about God's creations.
Dr. Smith earned his bachelor's degree at CSU with a double major in Biochemistry and Biology. He then did research in Genetic Engineering for two years before starting Veterinary School at CSU where he graduated in 1990. He started working at the Northglenn Veterinary Clinic with his father and Dr. Stonehocker, and they all became partners in 1992. They then designed and built the current building in 1996.
