Dr. Lizzie Bruce is originally from Pueblo, Colorado and has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was very young. She graduated with her DVM from Colorado State University in 2007.  She then moved to New Mexico where she practiced for eight years. Dr. Bruce’s special interests include internal medicine, surgery, and emergencies. Dr. Bruce and her husband moved back to Colorado in 2015 to be closer to family. They have a teenage daughter and son. She also has a longhaired German Shepherd and a tortie cat. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, and watching her children play hockey and figure skate.
