Dr. Amanda Blalock

Dr. Amanda Blalock is originally from Northeastern Ohio. She grew up begging her parents to adopt every barn cat, stray dog, and once even a loose llama. She originally set out for a career in chemical engineering, but by senior year college she couldn't resist the pull of a job that has cool puzzles, adorable patients, and wonderful people.

Dr. Blalock attended University of Illinois College of Veterinary medicine and completed a rotating internship in Washington, DC. Her interests include critical care, preventative surgery, feline internal medicine, and canine behavioral issues. When she isn't at work, Dr. Blalock enjoys hanging out with her husband and two old dogs-- Jade and Bentley. The family's most recent addition is a standard poodle named Willow who is enjoying exploring the Colorado outdoors and breweries. Dr. Blalock enjoys hiking, yoga, karaoke, and everything true crime related on Netflix.
