Dr. Brad Breon has been a veterinarian with Community Pet Hospital since 2010 after spending five years practicing in the Chicago area. Dr. Breon grew up in suburbs of Minneapolis and was destined to become a veterinarian when it was found that only he could dog-sit his neighbor's “mean-as-heck” poodle mix without risk of losing a finger. After earning a BS from the University of Kansas, Dr. Breon received his DVM from Kansas State University in 2005. His professional interests include cardiology, dermatology and surgery but he enjoys the interaction with clients and their pets in the exam room most of all.

In his off time Dr. Breon likes to spend time with his wife Brandy (also a veterinarian), their two sons Braedon and Braxton, two dogs Norman (a mutt in the purest sense) and LeRoy (a schnauzer), and cats Kirby and Tolkien. His family adventures include hiking, skiing, geocaching, camping and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
