Client care team

This highly energetic group receives you with open arms when you arrive at Community Pet Hospital. Vital to the comfortable experience we want you to have at our facilities, our Client Care Team makes client service a priority. They are available to assist you, whether it’s answering questions, scheduling appointments, responding to billing questions, providing grief counseling or helping with our other services.

  • Amy Hartman has worked for Community Pet Hospital since June of 2008. She has been in the client care field for more than eight years, working with both people and animals. She enjoys reading and watching movies. She has one all-black cat named Beans Malone. She aspires to continue to provide the high standard of care Community Pet Hospital offers to clients and pets.

  • Claire has been working at CPH for more than two years as a Client Care Specialist and lives with her husband Scott in Thornton. Claire has three cats – Henry, Bug and Baxter – and the world’s most spoiled dog, Willow. Claire enjoys traveling with her husband, reading and hiking.
  • Jamie J.

  • Jamie Austin began her career in veterinary medicine as a Client Care Specialist. She is currently attending Colorado State University pursuing a degree in Equine and Animal Science, and hopes to further her career with a hands-on approach with the animals. She currently resides in Thornton with her family of three dogs, one cat, two horses and her finance. She loves anything outdoors and looks forward to the new experiences that life has in store.

  • Kristin Capozzola joined the fantastic Client Care Team at CPH in June of 2009. She comes to CPH with six years experience working with animals – from retail to veterinary services. She lives a fulfilled life with her husband and two beautiful step-daughters. She is an animal lover at heart and has a strong willed American pit-bull terrier, ‘Katy’, at home. She also uses American sign language as a second language.

  • Mary Smith has been with Community Pet Hospital as a Client Care Specialist since August 1999. She loves helping clients and their pets everyday, and to be able to work with a wonderful group of people . She defines her position at Community Pet Hospital as a rewarding experience. Mary has three pets, a four-year old schnauzer mix, named Dallis and two 11-year old cats named TK and Snickers. Mary believes that everyday is an opportunity to learn something new and to be a better person than you were the day before.

  • Marie Meinerz is a new member of the Client Care Team at Community Pet Hospital. She is so excited to have the opportunity to work at such a highly accredited animal hospital. A native ofNorth Dakota, she recently moved to Thornton with her daughter, cat and dog. Marie looks forward to all the new adventures her and her family will have in the beautiful state of Colorado.

  • Michelle Thurber is a Client Care Specialist who started at CPH in October of 2008. She hopes to continue to grow within the hospital. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy, and her son, Lex. She enjoys outdoor activities – from mowing the lawn to playing soccer. She has two pets: Circe, an orange and white tabby, and Connor Kent, a border collie.

  • Nancy has been a client care specialist at CPH since June 2000. She strives to share her positive attitude with the hospital’s clients, and feels blessed to work with such a great team while caring for their pets and their owners. She has a four-year old chocolate lab named Gunner and Stanley, a tuxedo kitten that is a new addition to the family. She also has a house full of fish, and enjoys bringing in as many birds as possible to her many bird feeders! She loves her family dearly, and enjoys reading, cooking and collecting gem stones.
