Administration team

Our administrative team is responsible for business operations and making sure things run smoothly. They ensure that our hospital has the tools we need to provide the high quality, compassionate care you and your family expect.

  • Michelle Welch

  • Michelle and her family moved to Brighton from Portland, Oregon. She and her husband grew up in Colorado so it has been wonderful to be back home with friends and family. She has two little girls; Abby is 3 and Emily is 1. She has worked in the tax and accounting industry for the past eight years and was looking for a change of pace when a lucky opportunity allowed her to join the CPH team.
  • Somer Brady, PHR

  • Associate Administrator Somer Brady recently completed her professional certification in Human Resources, and has taken Health Administration courses at Metro State College. She has worked at CPH for more than two years, and looks forward to a long-term career in the veterinary field where she will continue to develop her management and human resources skills. Somer enjoys spending time with her own pets: a two-year old Rottweiler named Bueller, a cat called Meiz and a seven-year old mixed breed dog.
  • Jim Nash, MHA, CVPM

  • After serving as a Warrant Officer/Aviator in the US Army, Jim attended the University of Florida where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, Jim began his health care career in human medicine. He had the opportunity to learn about all aspects of hospital business operations, including billing, collections, insurance contracting, reimbursement and patient service. Jim earned his Masters in Health Care Administration at the University of Florida in 2003. In 2004, Jim became the Hospital Administrator at Community Pet Hospital, a five DVM general practice. Over the next five years, he helped grow and develop Community Pet Hospital into a 10 DVM, 24-hour, multi-site, general and emergency hospital. In addition to leading Community Pet Hospital, he is a part-time consultant and successfully completed the Certified Veterinary Practice Manager process in 2008. He lives in Thornton, CO, with his wife, Dr. Jenn Nash, and their three children. He and his family also shares their home with four dogs – Cammie, Finn, Colby and Twitch. They enjoy camping, hiking and spending time outdoors with the family.
